So I can tell him to grow a brain.
He was a spry, young and not-so-naive freshman when he walked into our college newsroom. Aside from a couple of years of infrequent contact, we’ve kept touch for over 10 years. Now, his family and our family are quite close and I can confidently say that unless he runs off with my wife, moves to Seattle or Raleigh, or strokes out, we’ll be friends for the rest of our lives.
(If he ran off with my wife, I’d just run off with his.)
